This Superior Grade Organic Tie Guan Yin is grown on shrouded, mist-covered around 1300 meters high mountain area in Anxi county offers a balanced cup with a light green hue and rich in amino acids with a complex fragrance and slight hint of citrus. The tea master is very careful to keep the leaves whole to create a smooth flavor that never turns bitter. The texture is silky-smooth and the refreshing floral taste lingers in the mouth long after the last cup. Don't confuse our regular Tie Guan Yin as being unimpressive or of poor quality. This tea can still easily impress without breaking the bank. Please note that tea price equates quality and quality equates with benefit. Tie Guan Yin tea making is a state of art, not state of science. It takes 13 to 16 hours to complete its 7-step process. Every step has to be "right" to make high-quality tea, and yet there is not exactly a "right" way because the right way for each batch of tea is different. The right way for each batch of tea depends on a lot of uncontrollable factors, such as the amount of dew on fresh tea leaves, strong or weak sunlight, or the moist in the air, etc. It is therefore up to tea masters to determine what should happen during each step. Not until the end can we know the final quality of a tea batch. Like any famous tea, there are a lot of fake Anxi Oolong Teas on the market. It is very important that you purchase your teas from a reputable store like us. Both the liquid and dried leaves of authentic Anxi Oolong Tea has a wonderful floral aroma. The brewed tea has a complex flavors that swirl around the mouth. Fake tea will not have this.
